So Last Years...Social Networking Site: Facebook - Replaced by: Twitter Don't get me wrong, Facebook is a long way from being down and out. But Facebook saw the threat coming, hence the attempted acquistion valuing Twitter at $500 million. Now Twitter is going from strength to strength with a variety of celebrites and radio shows like the Chris Moyles Show on BBC Radio One mentioning it. Not to mention the popularity it gets from events like Iran where the most informative news coming out of the country is through Twitter. It makes a better source of information than many newspapers!
