What a revolution in gaming.  Originally released in 1997, this is the console that brought you MarioKart 64, Mario 64, Goldeneye and Zelda The Ocarina of Time to name but a few of the amazing titles. Designed when gameplay was more important than graphics and before Microsoft uttered the words 'Xbox', Nintendo delivered what I still regard as the best games console of all time.

4 player Mario Kart 64 still is the best multiplayer game I have ever played and you cannot get enough of beating your mates time and time again and now, if you're lucky enough you can pick one up for under £30, second hand.

Granted, it doesn't have online capabilities but who needs it?  Get your mates round, get the beers out and relive retro gaming, multiplayer madness at it's very best.  Click here for Wikipedia entry.
